All of our dental assistants and hygienists are licensed professionals who take pride in the fact that they stay on the cutting edge of dentistry and patient communication. The Doctors
Dr. John Carroccia
John Carroccia was born and raised in Windsor, in the heart of little Italy along with his three siblings. After graduating from W.D. Lowe High School, he went on to obtain his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Windsor. From there he travelled to the University of Western Ontario where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1993.
He decided to return to Windsor to practice and after associating for five years he became co-owner of the Wyandotte Dental Centre. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and belongs to the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations as well as the Essex County Dental Society. Dr. Carroccia and his wife Lorna have two sons, Christian and Matthew.
Dr. David Cocchetto
David Cocchetto was born and raised in Windsor. After Graduating from Assumption High School, he went to McMaster University where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Biology receiving Summa Cum Laude distinctions. He chose to pursue a career in dentistry, graduating from the University of Western Ontario with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1994.
He has practiced in the Windsor area since graduating from Dental School. After associating for 5 years he became co owner of the Wyandotte Dental Centre. He is currently a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and belongs to the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations as well as the Essex County Dental Society. David resides in the Riverside area with his wife Louise. They have two children, their daughter Rian and son Ciaran.
Dr. Greg Luvisotto
Greg Luvisotto was born and raised in LaSalle. After graduating from Sandwich Secondary School he completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University. While attending Wayne State, he was a member of the University’s football team. He went on to study Dentistry at the University of Detroit Mercy and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2007.
After associating for 7 years Dr. Luvisotto became co owner of the Wyandotte Dental Centre. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario as well as the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Luvisotto is an avid Detroit Lions fan and sports enthusiast. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife Tracy and daughters Lily and Emma.
Dr. Alex Chevalier
Dr. Alex Chevalier is a LaSalle native who, after graduating with honors from French immersion at Sandwich Secondary School, pursued a Biochemistry degree at the University of Windsor, where he graduated with distinction. His journey toward a career in dentistry began during his undergraduate years when he shadowed dentists, developing a deep appreciation for the patient-dentist relationships that drive his passion for general dentistry.
Continuing his education, Alex attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and was recognized for his outstanding undergraduate work with the Dental Merit scholarship. His involvement at the dental school included active participation in the American Student Dental Association pre-dental committee and holding the position of Canadian Students Association president in his fourth year. Alex’s commitment to community dentistry extended to oral cancer screenings for Detroit Men’s Health day, outreach programs in metro-Detroit clinics, and volunteering for a dental mission trip, providing oral surgery and restorative treatments in Chichicastenango, Guatemala.
Beyond his dental career, Alex enjoys quality time with his wife (also Alex) and growing family. He also enjoys cooking and staying active with his favourite sports of volleyball, hockey and golf.
Dr. Chevalier is currently in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association, and is currently the President for the Essex County Dental Society.
